Gather Your Own Make Your Own Beer Kit

While we all have our favorite beers on the market, would it not be fun to play around with your own creation, adding a little flavor, increasing or decreasing richness, etc.? Making beer is an art and a wonderful hobby enjoyed by many, just as making wine is. Though it is rather simple, the key is to ultimately come up with the right concoction of ingredients to create the perfect blend. Some people choose to brew their own beer simply to understand where beer comes from while others take it quite seriously, refusing to consume or serve anything other than their own brewed specialty. Many people preferred home brewed beer to manufactured beer because of the wholeness and natural freshness.

Initially, the cost may be great, but once the supplies and equipment are purchased, it is much cheaper to make your own beer rather than purchase it from a store. Keg parties are much more fun when you can claim the glory for your delicious brew. Travis and I are going to see Star Wars Wed. night. Mr. & Mrs. Smith isn’t coming out until the 10th and we’ll be in Austin that weekend so we’ll probably see it at Drafthouse. I was snippy on Sun eve, but one of my biggest peeves is a chick answering a GUY’s cell phone. I know it may SEEM like I’m blowing it out of proportion but WTF, if I call a person, it’s because I want to talk to THAT person. If I wanted to talk to Claudia, I would have called her on HER cell phone. I didn’t like her tone with me the first time I spoke with her when she called me from YOUR phone upset about my interest in seeing Star Wars. I’m sorry, but I can’t help it if I didn’t care to see a brainless movie that was (I’m sure) a pathetic rendition of the first make. And fine, to each his own, I’m not criticizing her or your interest in seeing it, I’m just saying that I didn’t want to. But the whole thing, her calling me and getting upset about me not wanting to see the movie, me calling you and her answering your phone– because, what, I needed approval from her to talk to you? Um, I don’t THINK so. I just felt like I was “THE OTHER GIRL” calling you, as stupid and warped as that may sound. Now, if I had responded with such upset to lets say, Jill, Debbie, Alicia, or any other female we know, then OK, clearly I would seem to have some type of delusion. But this is a GIRL who clearly has an interest in you, if for nothing more – someone “local” to entertain her. This is a girl who continuously (though in a joking manner) accuses me of wanting you or “stealing her man” because we hang out together. I mean come on, that puts this on a whole different level. Your awareness of it and how you care to handle it is absolutely none of my business. But I hope you can see the position it puts ME in, and I don’t want any part of it.
